Beyond the Basıcs: Thınking carefully ın the dıgıtal age

 

As a teacher candidate, I've seen for myself how technology and global connections change how we grow. In my opinion, 21st-century learning is about much more than just using digital tools; it's about moving from being someone who just accepts information without thinking for yourself to someone who creates information in an active and critical way.

In our English classroom, we are moving beyond simple memorisation to embrace critical thinking. To do this, we will use the Argumentation Method. This approach encourages you to use English to build logical claims and provide evidence to support your ideas. Instead of just repeating sentences, we will have a two-way conversation where you show me your points and we solve problems together. This method is important because it makes language a real-world way of communicating.

It's really important to use technology on this blog because it helps you reach more people with your writing. This platform is great for talking about news and projects. It helps us to discuss things outside of class and makes us work better together as a community.

Like my hobbies in mosaic and ceramics, language learning is about putting things together to create a bigger picture. This space is for arguing, working together and sharing. This helps us to learn the skills we need to get through the modern world. Let's speak up!
